Hi, I’m Susan Koop a desert racer, farmer, and content creator from the small country town in Central Queensland.

I spend my days working on the farm and my nights chasing one of the toughest races in Australia the Finke Desert Race. What started as ticking a bucket-list race off in 2021 quickly turned into a passion for desert racing and the challenge of pushing both myself and my bike across some of the harshest terrain in the country.

Since then I’ve competed in events across Australia, earning multiple podium finishes and continuing to chase improvement every time I line up at the start line.

Racing at this level takes more than talent it takes grit, discipline, and a willingness to sacrifice. Between long days farming, training, building my bike, and funding the sport myself, the journey is far from glamorous. But that’s exactly why I share it.

Through my content, I document the real side of racing the hard work, the setbacks, the small wins, and the determination it takes to keep chasing big goals.

For me, racing isn’t just about results.

It’s about proving that where you come from doesn’t limit what you can achieve.

    I’m setting my sights on tackling as many desert races as possible. My aim is to compete in four of Australia’s most iconic events: the Finke Desert Race, Don River Dash and Kalgoorlie. Alongside these, I’m committed to participating in local motocross and enduro events throughout Central Queensland,keeping my skills sharp and my spirit competitive
